The Angels Story
Angels Jeanswear was founded in 1980 by the Fleckenstein couple in Nagold, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Their guiding idea was simple and ambitious in equal measure: design trousers that feel like a gift from heaven. That founding philosophy — that every woman deserves a perfect fit — remains the brand’s north star today.
Through the 1980s and 1990s, Angels established itself as a specialist in women’s denim across German-speaking Europe, earning a reputation in independent boutiques and department stores for seasonal collections made with genuine craft. Reliability and an honest relationship with retailers set the brand apart in a crowded market.
After the founding couple sold the business in 2015, Angels continued to evolve under new stewardship — expanding its fit range, deepening its sustainability commitments, and launching innovations like the One Size stretch jean. Quality control remains anchored in Nagold, with every pair inspected before release.

The One Size jean uses a highly elastic stretch fabric with an elasticated waistband to fit women across European sizes 36 to 44. It adapts to the body throughout the day without losing shape.
All Angels jeans are designed, pattern-cut, produced, and washed entirely in Europe. The textiles are also woven in Europe, meeting strict quality and environmental standards.
Generally yes. Angels recommends consulting the detailed size guide on each product page, as fit can vary slightly between models — the Cici and Ornella, for instance, sit slightly differently through the hip than the Skinny.
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out, using a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble-drying — hang jeans to dry in a shaded area to protect colour and fibre integrity. A splash of white vinegar in the wash helps preserve indigo tones.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt, provided items are unworn and in original condition. Angels keeps its return rate low by focusing on accurate fit information upfront — but exchanges are handled promptly when needed.
Angels uses organic cotton in select lines and is working toward sourcing 50% of cotton through the Better Cotton program. All production takes place under strict European environmental guidelines, including responsible dyeing and washing processes.
